In this episode Katie and Dr Justin talk about how Chicago Tongue Tie Center started and why they see a need for a Tongue Tie Center. Since Chicago Tongue Tie Center is new in early 2022 (though Dr Justin, Dr Bindi and Dr Derik have been preforming frenectomies for years) they discuss building a team, who should be on that team and how the team not only helps the families they serve but the professionals as well.
Podcast guest: Dr. Justin completed his general dentistry training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and this was followed by a two-year advanced program focused on pediatric dentistry at the UIC Hospital. In addition to being a board-certified pediatric dentist, he is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest honor a dentist can achieve in this specialty. On top of being a practicing dentist, Dr. Justin is also a professor. He currently serves as faculty at Midwestern University, teaching pediatric dentistry, and he also lectures at continuing education events across the country.
